Person

Nottingham City Council have ordered the first of our new Thermowood clad Clearview buildings. This beautiful Scandinavian style designer look is a new option from us for 2014, and the building has now been installed and completed, ready for occupation.

This bespoke Clearview Woodland building has been ordered in an interesting and unusual configuration, and it clearly illustrates how individual options build to create a bespoke building focused specifically on a clients' unique needs. In this case, Nottingham City Council required a "Park and Ride" ticket / visitor office, with reception area, kitchen and counter, plus toilets. They've specified electric security roller shutters and an automatic electric door.

Baroness Kramer, the Minister for Transport, officially opened the new Clearview Woodland modular building which they are calling "The Ecohub Centre"

As can be seen in the photograph, security shutters don't detract significantly from the beauty and style of the Thermowood cladding, and we're delighted with the level of interest already being shown in this new option. Produced from thermally modified Nordic spruce or pine from certified forests, this durable thermally modified wood is resistant to distortion, swelling or shrinking as well as rot or fungal decay. The true natural beauty of this cladding isn't compromised by resin leakage through knots, or other issues often associated with inferior cladding products. It can be specified across the whole size spectrum within our modern, light and airy Clearview range.
